David Skernick is a lifetime professional photographer and teacher with a BFA from Ohio University. His passion is nature photography. He feels that panoramas have changed his life. “The amount of control is staggering. There is no other way that a photographer can choose the size and shape of his canvas without cropping.”
Skernick’s work has been published often on album and CD covers, in magazines, books, cards and calendars.
His instructional articles have been published in Outdoor Photography, Photographic and Popular and Modern Photography. His photographs hang in countless installations and private homes.
David loves to teach photography. His private students range from amateurs to professionals, and have become so successful that he founded PHOTO 24 stock agency which now represents over 100 photographers – most are his current and past students - with over 150,000 images in stock photography.
